So Brianna, also known as Serendipity Mama, came up with the idea to paint rocks at the park. The idea took hold and Jen generously brought tons of paint, paper, and brushes. I brought a bunch of paint. The park has a kids' size picnic table that's perfect for kids to paint on. Noah and I (and Micah) arrived before Jen and so we broke out the paint and the kids and I scoured the grounds looking for things to paint. They patiently waited for the paintbrushes to arrive.
Upon Jen's arrival the kids delved into painting with aplomb.
Micah found a friend in Sarah's (above) son, Carter.
Some of the masterpieces...
I just realized that this last picture is a racecar! It looks really fast! Frankie, another Sarah's son, painted it. Good job, Frankie! He said that he painted the number 92 because he likes the way it sounds.
