This blog's title does make reference to cats, of which we have two. This is my first post about the cats.
Erik never allows Raleigh (pictured) on the bed, as he thinks the cat to be substandard. I, on the other hand, pamper the cats and allow Raleigh to nap unmolested during the day. It seems that the cats like to sleep on beds that have others sleeping on them already. At night, since Raleigh is not allowed in our room, due to his tendency to lick heads, he chooses to sleep on Noah's bed--the bed of the child who chases and "plays" with him during the day. We think it's a subtle dominance maneuver on Raleigh's part. ("Ha ha! You can't get me now because you are asleep! I could lick your head and face if I wanted to! Ha ha!")
